Prehistoric times

Homo erectus fossils found in several sites in Java show the possibility of continuity of the population ranging from 1.7 million years (Sangiran) to 50,000 years ago (Ngandong). A long time span shows feature changes that result in two different subspecies (H. erectus paleojavanicus older than H. erectus soloensis). Swisher (1996) proposes a thesis that up to 50,000 years ago they had been contemporary with modern humans H. sapiens.

Migration of H. sapiens (modern humans) into the archipelago is estimated to occur in the period between 70 000 and 60 000 years ago. The Austroneomelanesoid-speaking community, which later became the ancestor of some indigenous tribes in the Malay Peninsula, the Philippines (Negrito), the Australian Aborigines, Papuans, and Melanesians, entered the Sunda Exposure area. They then move east. The Niah caves in Sarawak have the oldest remaining skeletons representing this community (aged between 60 and 50,000 years). Skull remnants are also found in karst caves in Java (Sewu Mountains). They are proponents of Paleolithic culture that have not known the cultivation of plants or breeding and live gathering (hunt and gathering).

The discovery of a series of human-like skeletons in Liang Bua, Flores Island, opens the possibility of a third hominid species, now known as H. floresiensis.

Later about 2500 BC, migrations by Austronesian speakers from Taiwan to the Philippines, then to the south and Indonesia, and east to the Pacific. They are the ancestors of tribes in the archipelago.

This Austronesian knows the way of farming, the science of shipping and even astronomy. They also have a simple governance system and have a leader (small king). The arrival of immigrants from India in the later centuries of BC introduced to them a more advanced system of governance (empire).

The anti-globalization movement

The anti-globalization movement or the counter-globalization movement [1] is a critical social movement against the globalization of corporate capitalism. This movement is often associated with global justice movements, [2] alter-globalization movements, anti-globalist movements, anti-corporate globalization movements, [3] or movements against neoliberal globalization.

Anti-globalization activists have criticized it based on a number of related ideas. [4] Activists generally oppose large multinationals with unlimited political power; Such political power is exploited through trade and financial market agreements with minimal government intervention. More details, the company is accused of maximizing profits at the expense of safety standards, recruitment and labor standards, environmental conservation principles, and the integrity of legislative, independence and state sovereignty authorities. Some observers call the drastic changes of the global economy as "turbo-capitalism" (Edward Luttwak), "market fundamentalism" (George Soros), "casino capitalism" (Susan Strange), [5] and "McWorld" (Benjamin Barber).

Many anti-globalization activists are demanding global integration that provides democratic representation, advancing human rights, fair trade, and sustainable development so that they feel the term "anti-globalization" is highly missed.
